“ We have a 2yearold son and the front desk lady just sent us a small plate of rice and bean to him when we just got our seat! Their food are fresh and tasty, so I hope you can come to have a nice meal here. My husband told me he will always remember this restaurant. What a great Mexican restaurant ”
“ My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch after visiting Pinnacles National Park and we cannot wait to come back! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the carne asada and both were to die for. We loved the atmosphere, the service was incredible and the salsa was spicy and delicious! ”
“ A gem of a place we came across on our way to Santa Cruz. Great service and Ambiance. Delicious food! Everything from the tortillas to pickles are freshly and deliciously made. The price is very reasonable. Glad we were able to eat there. They make their soups fresh order by order so it will take 25 minutes. Too bad we were in a rush to get back on the road. I know it would have been yummy! ”
“ Its the real deal. We were on our way from the Bay Area to San Luis Obispo and were looking for a nice Mexican meal. Cocuyos popped up given the great reviews so we made the decision to give it a try even though there wasnt a ton of reviews. My wife was skeptical. After her first bite of the wet burrito she ordered, she exclaimed wow. Highly recommended. Cute little spot, attentive staff and excellent food. ”
“ Great service and delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. Recommended! ”
“ Fantastic Mexican food. I dont know why this place isnt jam packed on this random Tuesday night. Rice and beans were made right according to my Mexican companion, and it was probably the best steak ranchero Ive ever had. Highly recommend! ”
“ I just finished eating at Cocuyos and I have to say, this was a gamechanger. The tacos were beyond incredible perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of spice. Ive never tasted tacos this good in my life. The restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming, with a great vibe that made the experience even better. The staff were friendly and attentive, and you can tell they take pride in their food. If youre looking for a spot that delivers not just a meal but a fullon taco masterpiece, this is it. Im definitely coming back for more! ”
“ Amazing place! This is a restaurant where you can feel like home. Food is very authentic and veeeeeery tasty. Portions are generous and the host, Carla is a cherry on top. My glasses got a bit damaged and needed a quick fix. I tried to find a super glue in the store nearby but couldnt get it there, so I gave it a chance and asked Carla if she had any glue and if it wasnt a problem, if I could use a drop of it. She searched every inch of the restaurant and at the end, sent someone to buy it for me, without me even realizing. She did not want to accept any payment for that glue and gave it to me in case I would still need it later. That was so, so kind... Thank you for a delicious lunch and your kindness Carla and for anyone whos reading this comment do not hesitate. Just get in and have something delicious ”
